Dancing Plate is a parent-managed family nutrition platform. All accounts are created and managed by parents, guardians, or other authorized adults.

Children do not create independent accounts and do not have access to billing, subscription management, payment information, or account administration features.

Children may access certain child-facing features only through a parent-managed account and under parental supervision.

2. What We Collect

We collect information provided by parents or guardians when creating and managing their family account, including:

• Parent email address for account creation and communication
• Child profile information provided by the parent, such as first name and age range
• Meal-related information and food photos taken within the app for food recognition
• Food preferences, progress, goals, and app usage data to personalize the experience

3. What We Do Not Collect

• We do not allow children to create independent accounts
• We do not allow children to purchase subscriptions or access billing features
• We do not collect full names, addresses, or government IDs of children
• We do not sell personal data to third parties
• We do not serve advertising inside the app

4. Children's Privacy

Certain features of Dancing Plate are designed to be used by children under parental supervision. Parents create and manage all accounts associated with the service and provide any information related to child profiles.

Where required by applicable law, parental consent is obtained before collecting or processing personal information relating to a child. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent where required by law.

Our service is designed to be used by parents and families in accordance with applicable children's privacy laws, including COPPA and GDPR-K where applicable.

5. Food Photos and AI Processing

Food photos taken within the app are used to provide AI-powered food recognition and nutrition-related insights for parents and families.

Food photos are processed for the purpose of recognizing meal components and improving the user experience. They are not used for advertising and are not sold to third parties.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are purchased and managed exclusively by parents, guardians, or other authorized adults.

Children cannot purchase subscriptions, make payments, access billing information, or manage payment settings.
